A sketch of Eponine Thenardier from Les Miserables, as portrayed by Asia Argento in the 2000 French mini-series.
Watching the 2012 movie-musical adaptation reawakened my love for Les Mis (and Samantha Barks was a fantastic Eponine!) but my mental image of the characters is still from the first adaptation that I ever saw. I really love Asia's Eponine too, she has this... darkness and ruthlessness about her that is really close to what I expected from the book.
And that red dress~
(though it was probably way too nice for what you'd expect a street urchin to wear... xD)

This is beautiful! I love the darkness around her, and the shadows under the eyes, and wow okay that red lipstick and that dress make her look rad af. Her expression is tough and has some ruthlessness in it, yes, but also a softness and idk i love it! Your drawings are amazing!!
